Crepe and Barrel

The recent project named Crepe and Barrel features the strategic planting of a large Tuscora red crepe myrtle directly over a rainwater drainage spout from a home gutter. To accommodate large amounts(barrels) of water in the area, the tree was built up on a mound of rock to allow for quick water drainage during heavy rain, while being firmly rooted deep to reach for water, providing immediate fertilizer. This innovative solution showcases the effective combination of landscaping and water management.
