Hoya Khroniana Eskimo
The lovely Hoya Khroniana or Eskimo is a trailing plant ideally suited for a hanging basket thanks to its long and gorgeous vines. It can reach up to 8 feet long, so if your ceilings are not high enough, consider placing a climbing pole or trellis nearby.
Light
Hoya Krohniana 'Super Silver' prefers indirect light. Brighter light will result in better color of the foliage but avoid direct sun which may burn the foliage.
Water
The leaves of Hoya Krohniana 'Super Silver' are waxy and succulent, and they will tolerate minimum levels of watering. We recommend allowing the soil to nearly completely dry out between waterings. The number one sign of underwatering is drooping, wilted leaves. You can tell if you are overwatering by the leaves yellowing and falling off. Overwatering may eventually lead to root rot.
Care
Hoyas are epiphytic vines, meaning that they grow on the branches of trees in nature. The roots of epiphytes typically need very well-draining soil to prevent root rot. Hoyas will typically be happy with average household humidity. This plant should be fertilized monthly through the spring and summer with a diluted general houseplant fertilizer. Cuttings can be rooted in water or soil
