Old Man of the Mountain Cactus
Oreocereus Trollii, belonging to the Cactaceae family, is commonly known as ‘Borzicactus’ or the ‘Old Man of the Mountain’. The slow-growing succulent has its origin in Argentina and is a native of high altitudes on arid mountains. This shrubby columnar cactus is enveloped by fine white hair that protects it naturally from the night frost and the sun in the morning. To multiply and grow up to a height of 3 feet, the winter-dormant Brozicactus requires full sun exposure.
