Water
 
Water this plant when the soil is dry halfway down the pot. Do not water if the soil is still wet throughout and do not let the soil dry out completely.
It can be forgiving but will grow best with consistent water without overwatering. Overly soggy soils can lead to root rot if left unchecked.
If you live in a generally humid area, you can consider planting your philodendron in a terracotta pot which wicks away moisture. In dry areas, consider a plastic pot which retains moisture.

This plant can tolerate a variety of light conditions from bright indirect light to low light. We recommend that it gets about 4-6 hours of bright, indirect to moderate light a day.
However, it does not like direct sunlight. Overexposing your Philodendron McColley’s Finale to direct sun may cause leaf burn and discolor its beautiful foliage.
It will do best in a north- or east-facing window and can be placed a good distance from the window and still be happy.
 
 
This is a tropical plant that likes warm climates and high humidity levels. Ideally, you’ll want temperatures between 65-85 degrees Fahrenheit. This plant is not cold tolerant so keep away from vents and drafts that dry out the air.
